Monsoon just commenced here and watching my fellow Indieweb participants talk about the heat in Nürnberg was something I could definitely relate too - I just got through summers hitting 44°C and it has been brutal to even step outside between 10 to 5 pm. Monsoon was a bit delayed here but finally when it arrived I went on my home terrace to get drenched and finally..I felt relieved on the soul level.
Anyways, Day 2 of IndieWeb Camp as always was "stellar". I didn't do anything major on my Neocities site this time around on day 2 and hence just was devouring all the creations the participants ventured on to make. However, as always, from the post I made last night, this very Sunday morning I found some grammar mistakes ( Cringed hard!) It was cranked out in a sleepy state but it all felt so urgent to spill it all out that night.. and then made some tweaks today AND I know that it is in its raw format and mistakes can still exist in it. So I am not hovering my eyes around that anymore. The post I am talking about was from discussion that happened on day one of IndieWeb Camp. So there's that!
Finally, after lounging around in my house and giving my eyes some rest today - I decided to join my fellow participants for the demo session. To cheer them up!
I absolutely liked the curated set of daylists done by Tantek and James. Also, tantek made this lovely Instagram like grid - it felt so 2016 Instagram to me! Link Tantek
As a voracious reader myself, I also liked James book nook. Link James
Naty made her Junited list and explored different static site generators. It was lovely to see her explore stuff! Link Naty
Tilman made this blogroll thing and loved its simplistic aesthetics! Link Tilman
Rene! Well, he has such a vibrant personality and does lovely mimicry - impersonations. It was so cool to see that! I liked the bouncy effect he did while one hovers over pictures and so on. Link Rene
Zegnat had a photoshoot day at the camp and uploaded fresh new picture as a profile image. Apart from that, he has done something unique - you just gotta scroll and everything swipes upside like you are picking up some documents from a file at your desk vertically. Very neat! Link Zegnat
Uma has made something cool to calm down the nervous system. Earthy tones and great quick excercises. As a yoga lover myself, loved that! Link Uma
Jo showcased her developing new portfolio page. It was vibrant! Link Jo
David spent time doing maintainance. I think I too need to do some work on the site and schedule it from time to time...like cleaning stuff up!
Joschi was a welcoming host. Link Joschi
There were many other great folks too there - I am sure I am forgetting to mention their names here but consider yourself counted under my list if you were the part of IndieWeb Camp Day 2. I see you!
